The Calvert Golf Academy summer camp is a great experience for children and teenagers looking to improve their golf skills or learn how to play. The camp is open for children ages 5-15, regardless of experience level. It is run on a weekly basis Monday-Thursday from 8AM-12PM at Mellomar Golf Park. The cost of the camp is $205 per child. Camps are limited to 25 students per week so sign up quickly! BOTH PAYMENT AND REGISTRATION MUST BE RECEIVED 7 DAYS PRIOR TO THE FIRST DAY OF CAMP!!
The camp is led by head instructor Grant Boswell who is a veteran teacher and was captain of the Huntingtown High School Varsity Golf Team. At camp, students will learn the fundamentals of the golf swing as well as learn the rules and etiquette involved in the game of golf. They will also participate in a variety of fun and engaging games with the opportunity to win prizes!
Campers will be provided with snacks, water, and golf equipment. It is encouraged that students bring their own clubs however there are plenty of clubs for students to borrow if needed.
We recommend that campers bring sunscreen and bug spray as well as dress appropriately based on the weather.
