Akhil Patel
Owner
Akhil is a veteran instructor who trained under PGA certified Pat Rooney and was the captain of the Huntingtown High School varsity golf team for the 2019-2020 season. He was head instructor for the past two years, however he will now be taking more of an administrative role. Akhil will not be instructing summer camps this year. Akhil attends Wake Forest University where he studies accounting and computer science. He is currently in his sophomore and will be entering his junior year in the fall of 2022.
Grant Boswell
Head Instructor
Grant has been swinging the club since he could wrap his fingers around the grip and was a captain of the Huntingtown High School varsity golf team for the 2020-2021 season. Grant has trained under Akhil and this will be his second year as an instructor at Calvert Golf Academy. He will be the head instructor of the summer camps this year. He currently attends the University of Maryland as a sophomore and is studying mathematics. Go terps!
Sean Heppe
Associate Instructor
Sean was an excellent golfer on Huntingtown High School’s golf team and was a team captain his senior year. Sean joined the team for a few weeks last summer and now he returning as an instructor for the entirety of this summer! Sean is undecided on where he will be going to college in the fall of 2022, however he is planning to study criminal justice. We are excited to be working with Sean!
Carter Boswell
Associate Instructor
Carter is a top golfer on the Huntingtown High School golf team. He is finishing his senior year at Huntingtown where they dominated all seasons and made it to states. He was a phenomenal addition to the team summer 2021. Upon graduation, Carter plans to attend a four year university to study aerospace engineering.
